1. Store Customer Returns via POS
Customer returns must be processed against the original order receipt (`BT-XXXXXXXX`). The system verifies the item prices and quantities originally sold to ensure exact return amounts.
When processing a return, the cashier must input a mandatory return reason (e.g., defective item, customer change of mind, incorrect size).
2. Inventory Restock vs. Write-off
Goods returned in sellable condition can be flagged to automatically increment inventory stock.
Damaged or perishable goods can be written off with a clear loss reason, preserving non-negative stock invariants.
3. Cash Drawer & Shift Reconciliation
When a cash refund is given to a customer, it is recorded against the active POS shift. The cashier must confirm physical cash withdrawal, ensuring daily cash reports reconcile accurately.
4. BeeTable Software Subscriptions
BeeTable provides free workspace capabilities for qualifying small businesses. For premium subscriptions, merchants may cancel at any time before their next billing cycle.
Upon workspace cancellation, all historical sales records, customer lists, and inventory reports remain exportable for 30 days.
